5-year-old boy drives ‘digger’
H.S., a 5-year-old boy, used a digger on his own, digging the foundation of a building, and removing the excavations from the site. Some passers-by recorded the incident on their cameras as a proof of some parents’ ‘tactless’ behaviour…
The weird incident took place on Saturday in Keşan town of Edirne in the Thrace Region of Turkey. The boy, whose family is involved in an excavation business, got behind the wheel of a digger, and carried out a job of digging a foundation. The 5-year-old boy, who was later learnt to be an infant school pupil, removed the excavations just like a ‘proper’ driver would do and finished the job successfully.
The moments of the incident that later drew criticism were recorded by cameras of some interested passers-by. The family of the boy was later criticised after the incident was presented in some national TV channels.
