Arrest warrants for Emre Taner, the former head of MIT (National Security Service) of Turkey, his deputy and two other intelligence agents, were issued by İstanbul 14th High Criminal Court on Friday, as part of an ongoing investigation of suspected illegal Kurdish formation, KCK (Union of Kurdish Communities).
The warrants came one day after Hakan Fidan, the current head of MIT, rejected a summons to testify in connection with an investigation into the mentioned investigation.
Public Prosecution Office of Ankara was also instructed for the acquisition of Hakan Fidan’s statement.
