At least 49 killed 550 injured in Argentina train crash
A train crash in Argentina left at least 49 passengers dead, and 550 others injured in the capital city Buenos Aires…
The horrific train crash occurred in Once region, in the west of capital Buenos Aires, of Argentina on Wednesday, and left at least 49 people dead. 550 of the remaining passengers were also injured during the crash. The accident took place at peak time which caused the number of the casualties to be high.
The train was approaching a passenger platform with only a 26-km per hour just before it ran into barriers due to a brake system problem, according to first statements of authorities.
The operator of the train was rescued from the wreckage with an intensive work of 30-minutes, and was taken to hospital for the treatment of his heavy injuries.
