Kidnapped Syrian man’s escape recorded by security cameras
Mahmout Kasır (25), a Syrian man, managed to escape from his kidnappers while security cameras were recording the moments…
Mr Kasır arrived in Turkey a while ago, to find his missing father, Ahmet Kasır, who had disappeared without a trace after entering the country. The young man himself was also about to go missing as he was kidnapped by a group of people, one of whom a Syrian national Maemoun Emsader.
The group, along with Mahmout Kasır, was passing by a police control point in a private car when Mr Kasır got free from the car and rushed to the police, shouting as “Help!”. The moments of the incident were recorded by the security cameras of the police check point.
The police stopped the car after the man’s taking shelter, and detained Maemoun Emsader and Yunus Balseven, who later claimed that the young man owed them a sum and it was not an issue of kidnapping. Their claim did not save them from being arrested by the Court.
