The press meeting was held after Syrian Leader Assad’s latest speech that angered the opposition. Burhan Ghalioun, head of the opposition Syrian National Council, delievered a sepeech during the meeting.

“The Syrian revolution will continue peacefully. The Syrian National Council will blend with the Syrian army and the Syrian people, and will topple this regime. The Council will continue to take all necessary steps to overthrow the regime,” said Mr Ghalioun in his speech.
