Doğan Gazatecilik (Journalism) Corporation has sold its Milliyet and Vatan daily papers and their websites to the joint venture DK (Demirören-Karacan) Gazetecilik & Yayıncılık (Journalism & Paublication). The transfer agreement was signed at Milliyet papers headquarters in Bağcılar district of İstanbul. Aydın Doğan, the Honorary President of Doğan Holding; Arzuhan Doğan Yalçındağ, Doğan Holding CEO; Hanzade Doğan Boyner, Doğan Gazetecilik CEO; Vuslat Doğan Sabancı, Hürriyet Daily Paper CEO; Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı, Doğan TV CEO; Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ, Doğan Holding CEO; Erdoğan Demirören, the CEO of DK Gazetecilik & Yayıncılık; Erdoğan Demirören, the CEO of DK Gazetecilik & Yayıncılık, his wife Revna Demirören; Ali Karacan, DK Gazetecilik & Yayıncılık Executive Board Memeber; Tayfun Devecioğlu, Milliyet Daily Paper Chief Editor; Mehmet Ali Birand, a master journalist; and Milliyet and Vatan papers writers and workers were at the scene to celebrate the transfer.
Following the signing of the transfer agreement, Mr Demirören presented a plaque to Mr Aydın Doğan with the symbolic torch of Milliyet on it.
