A passenger bus was set on fire with molotov coctails when a group of people held an illegal demonstration and attacked the vehicle after evacuating the passengers…
The full-of-passengers bus was travelling from Kadıköy to Topkapı district of İstanbul when it was stopped by a masked group of illegal demonstrators at Şark Kahvesi bus-stop on Darülaceze Street of Kağıthane’s Mehmet Akif neighbourhood. The group evacuated the onboard passengers, and attacked the bus with molotov coctails, leaving the bus in an unusable condition.
The fire was put out by a fire brigade team, and no one was harmed during the attack. A police investigation was launched after the attack.
