THY cancels 40 flights after severe weather announcement
THY, Turkish Airlines, cancelled some 40 flights after General Directorate of Meteorology announced an expected heavy snowy and windy weather conditions in the coming days…
Turkey is expected to be hit by a wave of cold and snow Thursday onwards, according to a recent report that was release from the State General Directorate of Meteorology. THY cancelled 40 of its domestic flights following the Thursday announcement.
THY’s Ankara, Denizli, Trabzon, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, İzmir, Bodrum, Sivas, Erzincan, and Sinop flights were cancelled with an official announcement on Thursday. Budapest-İstanbul flight of Hungarian Airlines, and Madir-İstanbul flight of Spanish Iber Airlines were also among the cancelled flights due to the expected sever weather conditions announcement.
