Ambassador Prof Dr Kavas was given the Order of State by Senegal President Macky Sall
Turkiye's Ambassador of Dakar, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas was given the Order of the State by the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, for his contributions to the relations between Turkiye and Senegal.

Senagal President Macky Sall honored Dakar Ambassador Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas with the State Order, Senegal's highest order, for his contributions to Turkiye-Senagal relations during his tenure. Ambassador Prof. Dr. Kavas stated as;
“Even though there was a covid environment for 1.5 years in Senegal, we strengthened our countries with ties of friendship and brotherhood for 2.5 years. We have carried out activities that will affect the future of relations between the two countries. It was a great honor to be deemed worthy of the state order by the President of Senegal.”
