Northern Iraq Regional Government Prime Minister Barzani attended Erbil Build Expo
Erbil International Building, Construction and Municipal Equipment Fair and Conference, which was organised for the 13th time, welcomed Northern Iraq Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani. The event, organized with the participation of 408 exhibitor company brands from 13 countries, aimed to boost the import volume in the construction equipment and materials sector for Iraq.
Erbil Build Expo Conference -Erbil International Building, Construction and Municipal Equipment Fair and Conference, which was held for the 13th time on 23-26 May 2023, was opened by Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Northern Iraq Regional Government. Addressing the conference held concurrently with the fair, Barzani emphasized great trade potential in the region, particularly for construction companies, given the region’s future investment and reconstruction targets.
408 BRANDS FROM 13 COUNTRIES PARTICIPATED THE EVENT
This year's Erbil Build Expo, organized by Pyramids Group, witnessed the participation of 408 brands from 13 countries. Within the scope of the fair, more than 20 thousand visitors from Iraq and neighbouring countries were hosted. The fair was held with the support and cooperation of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, Iraqi Ministry of Construction and Settlement, Ministry of Electricity, Ministry of Planning and all relevant institutions and chambers of commerce. It is stated that the event served as a platform for intensive bilateral meetings between companies, state institutions, and related subsidiary entities, further solidifying international companies' role as major stakeholders in construction and building projects within the region.
